Chromebooks Roll-Out

IJP Junior High Students Receive Chromebooks!

New this year—made possible in part by funds raised at our 2015 Trek for Tech 5K in April—all sixth, seventh and eighth grade students at IJP are receiving Chromebooks to use for their school work. IJP School expects that every graduate be able to demonstrate the skill to use technology and to analyze its impact. With most high schools now requiring their students to work in a 1:1 environment, where students use tablets or laptops to access course materials, submit completed assignments, etc., IJP School wants its students to enter the next phase of their education already proficient in that environment. Our seventh and eighth grade students have already received and started working with their Chromebooks. The sixth graders will receive theirs shortly. Thank you to everyone who participated in the spring Trek for Tech—those funds are being put to excellent use!
