Patch Whiz Kids of the Week: The 14 state champion competitors from Illinois' Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA).
Whiz Kid's School: Homewood-Flossmoor High School
Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Out of 55 representatives from H-F High School that made it to the state level to compete at DECA, 14 performed highly enough to move on the international DECA competition. Because of their accomplishments, they will now fly to Orlando, Florida to test their skills against the world. The international DECA competition will be held from Apr. 29 to May 4.

H-F’s 14 State Champions, who qualified for the international DECA competition, to be held in Orlando, Fla., April 29-May 4, are:
• DECA Quiz Bowl Team: Sam Applebaum, Emily Drwiega, Keaton Fisher and Eli Lichtenberg
