Christopher Young faces aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault charges in connection with a 2013 case involving a 6-year-old girl.

HOMEWOOD, IL — A Flossmoor man faces charges in connection to a 2013 kidnapping and sexual assault of a child. Police in Homewood arrested Christopher Young, 52, of the 2900 block of Bob O Link Road in Flossmoor on Tuesday on charges of aggravated kidnapping and predatory criminal sexual assault.
A 6-year-old girl was found alone in the 1300 block of Bunker Avenue on Dec. 28, 2013 and told police at the time she had been kidnapped from her home in Homewood to another home before being released outside a third home.
DNA was recovered from the young girl, but State Police told local authorities in June of 2014 that it did not match anyone in the state's records.
