Driver Killed After Car Crashes Into Wall In Homewood
The driver of a car that crashed into a cement wall at 183rd Street and Park Avenue has died.

HOMEWOOD, IL - The driver of a car that crashed into a cement wall in Homewood Thursday night has died. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as Donte Mott, 25, of Harvey.
Homewood police say that a car crashed into the wall on the south side of 183rd Street across from Park Avenue. Mott, who was the only person in the car, was extricated by Homewood firefighters and pronounced dead at the scene.
No other cars were involved in the wreck, which police said occurred around 10:07 p.m.

An investigation into the crash is underway by the Homewood Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit with assistance from the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team.
