HOMEWOOD, IL — A driver was charged with aggravated assault after he got out of his car and threatened to shoot another driver during a Dec. 17 road rage incident in Homewood, police said. Charles Guyton, 68, of the 1400 block of Parnell in Chicago Heights, confronted the other driver following the incident in the 17700 block of Halsted. Guyton reportedly had a firearm and "made a threat to shoot him if he came towards him," police said in reports. The circumstances leading up to the confrontation were unclear.
