El Tapeo announces Happy Hour specials

The high energy, sleek restaurant and lounge, El Tapeo, is celebrating the return of Happy Hour with the launch of their “Dine on Nine” series. Offered in the lounge and bar area every Monday through Thursday from 4 – 6 p.m., and again from 9-11 p.m., El Tapeo invites guests to experience authentic Spanish tapas, wines and cocktails at an unbeatable price. Located on the 9th floor of Le Méridien Chicago, Oakbrook Center, 2100 Spring Road in Oak Brook, El Tapeo boasts breathtaking views of the city with floor-to-ceiling, wrap around windows.

Specials include half price bottles of wine (under $90) Mondays; half off bottle and draft beers Tuesdays; half off signature cocktails Wednesdays; half off wines by the glass Thursdays; and a selection of daily tapas created by Culinary artist and Chicago native Executive Chef Michael McDonald including aceitunas, croquetas de bacalao, croquetas de setas and pimientos, for just $5 each. For those who can’t quite make the early time period, a special night-cap happy hour is available the same days from 9-11 p.m. During this time, guests can receive a signature tapas as well as a glass of sangria for just $9.

Regular hours for the restaurant are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
