Star Party

Bloom's Astronomy Club will have its 3rd monthly Star Party. (If it is cloudy, then it will be rescheduled for 11/2, same location, same time.) This is a free event and all are encouraged to attend.

We will be set up along Dixie Highway between the softball fields. We'll be looking for Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Mars, Earth's Moon and as many deep sky objects (star clusters, galaxies, nebulae) as possible. The Celestron 11" Schmidt-Cassegranian telescope will be available for use and you are encouraged to bring your own to share as well.

There have been approximately 10-20 students and community members in attendance over the past few months. As the weather is about to get cold on us, this will probably be our last until the snow clears in March or so. I hope to see you there!
