Join us as Thornton Township and TPC Homewood-Flossmoor partner together to have a Family Day event from 5pm to 7pm this Sunday, June 23 at Iron Oaks, 20000 Western Ave. in Olympia Fields. We will be serving free BBQ, games and family fellowship. This is an event we are looking to have the second to last or last Sunday of every month. We are asking people to bring their families to enjoy some free food, worship, kid-friendly events and time to just enjoy each other.
"We enjoy bringing people together in Thornton Township because we believe in people forming bonds," said Ernst Lamothe Jr., Thornton Township communication manager. "Our motto is People Helping People and we are proud to work with TPC church to bring this event to the southland."
