Braun, a Flossmoor resident for 40 years and two-term incumbent, wrote on his website that he is seeking re-election “because I believe that together we can continue to maintain high quality Village services, continue with our efforts for economic development to bring new businesses to Flossmoor, continue to maintain the Village’s financial stability, and to market and promote Flossmoor as a really great place to live, work, and raise our families.”
“I am committed to doing whatever is necessary to achieve these goals while at the same time not raising property taxes on our residents.”
