Flossmoor Recyclepalooza Returns April 25
The event is held in the parking lot of Parker Junior High.

FLOSSMOOR, IL — Flossmoor's Recyclepalooza has returned to the spring season to help you with residents' spring cleaning.
This year's event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Parker Junior High School parking lot on Saturday, April 25.
Accepted items this year are:

- Accessories, including: backpacks, belts, computer bags, costume jewelry, gloves, handbags, purses, tote bags & wallets
- American flags
- Apparel, including: baby clothes, blouses, coats, dresses, formal wear, hats, jackets, jeans, pants, scarves, shirts, shoes, socks, suits, sweaters, swimsuits, ties & undergarments
- Bicycles
- Electronics / E-waste (TVs: $15 fee; Monitors: $10 fee, cash or card accepted)
- Eyeglasses
- Household items (no furniture), including: baskets, bedspreads, blankets, curtains, drapes, pillows, quilts, sheets, shower curtains, sleeping bags, sofa covers, towels & washcloths
- Legos
- Oral care products & packaging, used
- Plastic bread tags
- Pop tops
- Prescription bottles, empty
- Razors, used
- Styrofoam, clean & dry
- Toys, including: plastic, plus & stuffed
- Travel-sized toiletries, new
- Trophies & medals
Residents are reminded to pack like items together & label. Volunteers will unload your vehicle at this drive-through event.
The event is sponsored by the Flossmoor Green Commission, Flossmoor School District 161 and Homewood Disposal.
