Flossmoor School District 161 Names Next Superintendent
An assistant superintendent in McHenry County will take over the top position in the Flossmoor-based school district.
FLOSSMOOR, IL - Flossmoor School District 161 has named its next superintendent.
Dana Smith, who is currently the assistant superintendent for early childhood and elementary education for the Woodstock Community Unit School District 200, has been picked for the job according to a Daily Southtown report.
Smith will replace interim Superintendent Michael Popp. Popp has served in the role since previous Superintendent Craig Doster resigned in November.
