Flossmoor Seeking Artists And Donors For Garden Art Fundraiser
Fundraiser seeks one-of-a-kind flowerpots, bird baths, bird feeders donations for auction benefitting Flossmoor's public art program.

FLOSSMOOR, IL — The Flossmoor Public Art Commission has announced the return of a creative fundraiser that will get residents thinking about warmer days and putting their analog skills to good use. Its Garden Art & More Online Auction is a unique fundraiser where creative individuals and artists will fashion one-of-a-kind flowerpots, bird baths, bird feeders, bird houses, wind chimes, wind spinners, lawn chairs and other lawn decorations, then donate them for an online auction, benefitting the public art program in Flossmoor.
“We need your help to make this a fun and successful way to support public art in Flossmoor,” said Nancy Burrows, chairperson of the Flossmoor Public Art Commission. “Share your creativity by donating items that make homes, gardens and gatherings more enjoyable, and be sure to bid on the great items in the auction.”
Flossmoor offered the Garden Art online auction first in 2024, where it featured nearly 40 items and garnered approximately $4,000 for the public art program, which currently features 15 permanent sculptures and eight temporary installations in the Village.
