Franciscan Health Medical Staff to be Classic Event Partner

The medical staff of Franciscan Health Olympia Fields will partner with the Franciscan Health Foundation in hosting the 19th Franciscan Health Golf Classic. The event will be held at Olympia Fields Country Club on Monday, August 16, to benefit Franciscan’s Community Health and Wellness Fund.

Franciscan’s physicians are an integral part of the hospital, committed to improving the health of Chicago’s Southland. Their golf outing partnership is a natural extension of their shared determination to find ways for all people in the community to have access to quality healthcare.

“Supporting our local community and making sure that everyone has access to a high-quality health system are among the things our medical staff feels strongly about,” said Franciscan Health Medical Staff President William Payne, MD. “We want to make sure we are good community partners in that endeavor.”

“Looking outside the walls” represents a partnership between the community and medical staff, furthering the hospital’s efforts to keep people from needing hospital care and looking for ways to provide care to those who lack access healthcare.
