Gubernatorial Candidate Ameya Pawar to Meet and Greet Residents in Flossmoor
The current Chicago alderman will share his vision at a local church on March 5.

FLOSSMOOR, IL - Ameya Pawar, Chicago's 47th Ward alderman and a candidate for Illinois Governor, will be in Flossmoor this weekend for a meet and greet event.
Pawar will share his ideas, vision and policies for the state at the Flossmoor Community Church Community House at 847 Hutchinson Road at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 5.
The event will be organized by Action for a Better Tomorrow, a group described as "grassroots" and "non-partisan." The group plans to host additional meet and greets with candidates throughout the election season.

Pawar became the first Asian-American to serve in the Chicago City Council when he was first elected in 2011.
