H-F Economics Teacher Honored

HOMEWOOD, IL - A Homewood-Flossmoor High School social science teacher is the recipient of a statewide award for economics instructing. Nick Anello will be presented the 2017 Outstanding Economics Educator Award at the Econ Illinois banquet on May 18, according to a report from the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle.

Anello was selected for the “comprehensive and variable ways” he presents his topics and puts a value on economic education. At H-F, he teaches five sections of economics for International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement and College Prep classes.
