H-F Pool To Get Complete Renovation

More than $3.6 million will be spent to spruce up the pool and area around it at Homewood-Flossmoor High School.

FLOSSMOOR, IL - A complete model of the pool at Homewood-Flossmoor High School is coming this year after the school board approved spending more than $3.6 million on the project, the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle reports.

In addition to the pool, the stairwell and office area will also be remodeled and there will be new additional spaces in that part of the school once the project is completed in November. Work on the project performed by Chicago Heights Construction will begin in May.

Swimmers will use the pool at the Flossmoor Country Club while their own is being remodeled. The Chronicle reports it has been 25 years since the most recent complete renovation of the H-F pool.
