H-F Wins Trip to State, Rematch Against Stevenson
The Vikings will head to Champaign to face Stevenson Saturday, Nov. 29.
Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings earned their second-ever trip to the Class 8A State title game,with a 35-28 win over Simeon Saturday at Gately Stadium. The Vikings surged 64 yards in 12 plays in the fourth quarter to score the touchdown that would send them to Champaign.
The Vikings (11-2) move on to face Stevenson (13-0), at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 in Champaign.
