Healthy Hair begins with a Healthy Scalp!

Using essential oils, an all natural bar of soap and a simple AVC rinse can help your scalp repair from everyday stress.

Life can be stressful, but especially for your hair. We've been hard at work trying to figure out why the scalp becomes damaged and what we can do to help. After months of research (aka trial and error), we've finally come up with a solution. This same solution that keeps smacking us right smack-dab in the face....NATURE!

A simple solution to helping your hair improve its luster and shine and improve the overall health of your scalp:

  1. Wash your hair with an all natural tallow-based bar soap. Void of harsh chemicals and rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, tallow soap can actually nourish dry, flaky scalp.
  2. Rinse your hair with Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) diluted with water to about a 10:1 ratio. This brings the pH of your hair back to balanced after the soap and can help kill any type of fungal growth that could be effecting your scalp. Allow it to sit in your hair for about 3 minutes or so, then rinse out with as cold of water as you can stand it. This closes the hair cuticle and makes it silky smooth.
  3. Towel dry your hair, then add a couple drops of rosemary and geranium essential oils to your scalp diluted in argan oil. Not too much or your hair can get greasy, but just enough to give your scalp the moisture it needs.

Do not neglect your scalp when focusing on hair care. In fact, place the emphasis ON your scalp and you will see results must faster.
