Heroin Found On Indiana Man At Menard's, Cops Say
Police said the man left the Menard's on Halsted without paying for items worth a total of less than $30.

HOMEWOOD, IL — Police in Homewood arrested an Indiana man Jan. 24 on accusations he stole a few items from Menard's and had heroin on him at the time.
Brandon Robertson, 28, of Columbia City, Indiana, was charged with retail theft and possession of a controlled substance in connection with the incident that happened at 9:14 a.m. on Jan. 24 at the Menard's at 175th and Halsted in Homewood, according to police.
A police report states Robertson hid the store-owned items valued at $28.47 and left the store without paying for them. He also had on him 1.5 grams of heroin, police said.
