HFHS Placed on Brief Lock Down

HOMEWOOD, IL -- Homewood-Flossmoor High School was placed on a brief lock down Thursday afternoon due to police activity at the CVS store across the street. The lock down went into effect at 2:40 p.m., according to a social media post from the high school. The perimeter of the school was secured until 2:53 p.m., when school officials received a notification from police that there was no longer a threat to the safety of the students at the school.
