Students will earn three college credits through this course

Students from Hillcrest High School have begun learning Career-Ready skills through an Emergency Medical Responder course at South Suburban College. These students will be attending class at the Oak Forest Campus every Wednesday to learn to be EMT’s. They have taken advantage of the free class waiver that South Suburban offers Hillcrest. This also includes 3 college credits!! These Hillcrest students are on the move to improve their skills!!

During this course students will: Train in the basics skills of first aid and CPR, obtain CPR certification upon successful completion, and learn how firefighters, police officers, public works employees, and others respond to emergency situations. This is a great college course for anyone interested in health careers.
