Hillcrest High School Band Hosts Movies on the Hill
Over 200 students and their families enjoyed a fun night of movies, popcorn and nachos
Hillcrest High School Band recently hosted an entertaining family movie night. The audience was treated to two box office success movies. After enjoying the movie “Home”, the adventures of the lovable misfit from another planet, the genre switched to the sci-fi drama of “Insurgent” and it’s fugitives on the run. The packed audience had a chance to purchase fresh buttered popcorn and loaded nachos. The action-packed evening was an enjoyable experience for over 200 Hillcrest students and families. “The well planned evening was such a success that the band members plan to host an additional family movie night on Halloween,” stated Mrs. Valeaka Freeman, Hillcrest Band Director.
