Hillcrest HS Alum Nick Henderson - An Emerging Triple-Threat

Henderson's extensive resume includes dancer, actor, and singer.

Nick Henderson is a 2014 graduate of Hillcrest High School and a Saint Xavier University sophomore. He has established himself as an emerging triple-treat with an extensive resume as a professional dancer, actor, and singer. Nick manages to balance a career in entertainment which includes: previous backup dancing for acts like Mary Mary and Pink Floyd, working with some Chicago's best musical theater companies, consistently auditioning for TV shows such as Empire, Chicago Med (through his talent agency Gill Hayes Talent Agency), doing extra work on an episode of Chicago PD and doing shows around Chicago all the while completing his course work at SXU. Nick released his debut album, Black and White, on February 23 to all major digital retailers. Black and White is a 10-track dance-pop, contemporary R&B, contemporary Christian fusion. Nick wrote and co-produced every song alongside his team of contributors. The album combines different elements that include love, pain, faith, and God while embodying a sense of relevance among Nick's age group. Nick hopes to inspire his peers and others to chase after their dreams, and provide a positive guideline for making a difference within the limits of their community. Nick will be one of the headliners at the House of Blues April 19 at 6pm. Tickets are free. For more information on Nick Henderson, connect with him on social media.
