Hillcrest HS Band Members Selected for SSC Music Festival

Hillcrest High School Band had seven members selected to participate in the Annual South Suburban Conference (SSC) Music Festival. The event invites students from across the South Suburban Conference to be recognized as the best amongst their peers. The students had the unique opportunity to work with Dr. Peter Griffin, Music Department Chair and Professor of Music at Elmhurst College. Elmhurst faculty includes members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Chorus, Lyric Opera of Chicago, national recording artists and award winners. After a long day of rehearsals, the students performed for their family, friends, and community.
