Hillcrest HS Band Members Selected for SSC Music Festival

Congratulations to the Hillcrest High School Band for having six members selected to participate in the Annual South Suburban Conference (SSC) Music Festival that took place at Lemont High School. Talented musicians from across the SSC Conference came together to work with well-known college band director Dr. Richard Fisher to make one large honors ensemble. The student musicians practiced together with the director from 9am-5pm to prepare for their performance. The eventful day ended with a large concert for their family and supporters presenting the music they'd diligently practiced. Hillcrest Band members include: Kevin Moore, senior, euphonium; Ava Grandberry, junior, flute; Karly Kos, junior, flute; Angela Guyton, senior, flute; Alexis Simmons, senior, percussion; and Myrik Hill, junior, alto saxophone.
