Hillcrest HS Football Team Continues its Historic Season
The Hawks continue their season with a 28-27 victory over Glenbard South
Congratulations to our Hillcrest Hawks Football Team (7-2) for continuing its historic season with a 28-27 victory over Glenbard South High School (5-4) at home. Junior Dakari Smith (#28) rushed for two touchdowns while Senior James Lipscomb connected with Marcus Garrett for a passing touchdown. The Hawks ended the game by denying the Raiders a 2-point conversion with less than two seconds left on the clock.
The Hawks, now 8-2, will travel to Woodstock on Friday, November 4 at 7pm to take on the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (6-4) in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
