Hillcrest HS Freshman Leadership Students Attend Team Building Event

Hillcrest Freshman Leadership students participated in the annual Irons Oaks team building field trip on August 27, 2015. Iron Oaks is dedicated to enhancing social and natural communities through experiential education services & projects, professional development opportunities, and community initiatives.

The students participated in a series of team activities designed to enhance personal communication and leadership skills that carry over into day-to-day living and working environments. “It was a perfect day to be outside with these outstanding young men and women. They worked well together and really seemed to enjoy the activities. They were excited and worked hard to complete each obstacle,” stated Mrs. Kirk, freshman class sponsor and teacher.
