Hillcrest HS Freshman Leadership Team Visits Teen Bridge Center

The Hillcrest High School Freshman leadership students recently attended a leadership workshop at the Bridge Teen Center in Orland Park. The Bridge Teen Center is a nonprofit community center that was designed around the interests and needs of teens in the suburbs. Their mission is to provide free programs during after-school and unsupervised hours where students can develop mentally, emotionally, and spiritually in a safe environment. The two hour workshop, entitled “Message Sent,” is one of six sessions included in the center’s leadership program series. It is an interactive participatory session presented by Bridge Center Staff, which focuses on effective communication skills. The Bridge Center offers weekend activities for all high school aged students.
