Hillcrest HS Girls' Cross Country Off to an Impressive Start

Both Varisty and Frosh/Soph Teams running well

The Hillcrest Varsity Girls’ Cross Country Team is off to an impressive start. At the Hillcrest Invitational, the team was led by Captain Desiree Wilson finishing in 13th Place. Other outstanding performances were turned in by Tia Alexander, Aleaha Brown and Christana Vega-Allen.

Also, congratulations to the Hillcrest Girls’ Frosh/Soph Cross Country Team for their impressive win at the Hillcrest Invitational. The team continues to run extremely well with four runners earning medals and finishing in the top 10! The Hawks were led by Jasmine Curry (second), Taerena Moore (fourth), Tia Pollard (seventh), and Delois Ivory (tenth). Other outstanding performances were turned in by LaJada Steward and Tehya Allen. All runners ran their personal best times of the early season.
