Hillcrest HS Key Club Collects Donations for the South Suburban Family Shelter
Students collected toiletries for the shelter
Hillcrest High School Key Club members spent a sunny afternoon loading up a truck with toiletry donations collected for the South Suburban Family Shelter.
Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership.
The members promoted the drive by hanging fliers around the school and placing donation boxes in the IMC and the Main office. As a bonus, the classroom that collected the most toiletries won a pizza party. “It felt good to collect for a good cause and assist a wonderful organization,” said Mariah Harris, Key Club member.
