Hillcrest HS Key Club Donates to Cell Phones for Soldiers
The Key Club collected over 100 phones

Hillcrest High School Key Club had the pleasure of delivering over 100 cell phones for soldiers. The phones will be recycled and calling cards will be purchased for our soldiers who cannot come home for the holidays. Cell Phones for Soldiers is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communication services to active- duty military members and veterans. To date, the organization has provided more than 216 million minutes of free talk time to our troops serving around the world through the Minutes That Matter program. They also continue Helping Heroes Home via emergency funds that so far have assisted more than 2,800 veterans.
Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership.
”The students and staff’s generosity is overwhelming and the Key Club members are thrilled to be able to help our Military in this way,” said Ms. Amy Trench, Key Club Sponsor. For more information visit website at https://www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com.
