Hillcrest HS 'A' Students Enjoy Pizza Party

The Freshman Learning Center’s (FLC) “Great Job On Your ‘A’ Paper” pizza party has been a huge success this semester. Students submit the great achievement papers to be entered in a raffle to attend the party. All of the contest winners love revisiting the FLC to socialize with peers and enjoy a few slices of pizza. Once the staff of the FLC announced the most recent winners of the grand pizza party, they saw a large increase in the number of ‘A’ papers submitted for the contest.

“These parties are definitely encouraging students to improve on their tests, quizzes, and essays,” said Shane Pennington, FLC Tutor.

The last round of students selected for the pizza party were: Renita Ford, Chandler Smith, Kevin Rogers Jr., Raqeeb Yarrow, Abdul Mohammad, Syncere Brown, Stanley Baggett, Kameron Hill, Jaylen Payne, Jacolby Lawrence Jr., Alleya Arzu, Briana Ritchey, Nyla Johnson, Allysa Arzu, Darlene Moore-Jones, and Tysir Brooks.
