Hillcrest HS Students Learn All About Microsoft Corp. on Tour
Students visited the Microsoft store as part of the Career Readiness Initiative
Twenty students from Hillcrest High School were invited to take a tour of the Microsoft Store in Oak Brook as part of the District's career readiness initiative, sponsored by Junior Achievement. Junior Achievement of Chicago has been getting professionals and companies into the inspiration business, by teaching school kids the real-world skills they need to succeed.
The students were given an overview of the Microsoft Corporation, careers within the company, and a tour of the local store. While there, the students had opportunities to explore and play with the different gadgets and devices within the store. Microsoft’s mission it to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
At the conclusion of the trip the students gave phenomenal marketing presentations, advertising the latest Microsoft devices to the group facilitator and fellow peers. The Microsoft facilitator Erica, stated that in the three years that she has been doing school field trips and marketing presentations, the Hillcrest students had the best presentations by far and were one of her favorite schools to have visit.
