Hillcrest HS's Key Club is Collecting Cell Phones for Soldiers

Donations accepted through December 11

Hillcrest High School’s Key Club is happy to announce that again they are collecting “Cell Phones for Soldiers” this holiday season. They will be collecting used cell phones of any kind through December 11. Last year the Hawks donated over 150 cell phones. The phones were recycled and calling cards were purchased for our soldiers who cannot come home for the holidays. A decorated collection box is located in the main office. Contact Hillcrest High School at (708) 799-7000 if you would like to make a donation. “Cell Phones For Soldiers” is a national nonprofit dedicated to serving troops and veterans with free communication services to their families. Cell Phones For Soldiers has provided more than 216 million minutes of talk time to our troops serving around the world through the Minutes That Matter program.
