Hillcrest HS's Professional Young Women's Network

PYWN held mock interviews to help prepare them for the future

Hillcrest High School’s Professional Young Women’s Network (PYWN) held mock interviews during their April meeting. Each young woman had the opportunity to meet with a current Professional Women’s Network member to practice their interview skills. All the students came prepared for their interview by dressing professionally and completing a resume. They did an excellent job of preparing themselves and received some great advice for the future. Junior Eriana James stated that she learned the following, “I learned how to be prepared to answer any question given with a professional and honest answer.” Junior Teri Easter mentioned that “This was a wonderful experience and it showed me my strengths in a different way.” “Our students were engaged in the learning experience and walked away with some invaluable information regarding interview do’s and don’ts,” said Ms. Nikita Odom, Hillcrest Counselor.
