Homewood Farmers Market 2017 Begins This Month
The Homewood Farmers Market runs through Oct. 14 this year.

HOMEWOOD, IL - It’s almost outdoor farmer’s market season in Homewood. The Homewood Farmer’s Market will kickoff this year on Saturday, May 27 at Martin Square, 18020 Martin Ave. It will feature up to 40 vendors every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. from then until Oct. 14, according to a report from the Daily Southtown.
According to the village of Homewood website, the market “provides a relaxing, friendly atmosphere to pick up some of the best produce around while listening to music from local musicians being played throughout the market.
“You will find diverse offerings of produce, baked goods, and restaurants setting up their own booths to provide their specialties to hungry shoppers.”

The Hunt & Gather Market will continue in its third year of including art, crafts and retro goods on the final Saturday of every month. There will also be a Wednesday night market from 4-8 p.m. this year from July 12 through Aug. 16.
