Homewood-Flossmoor Area League of Women Voters To Host Pot Luck Supper
The LWV-HF Area is holding its first meeting of the new season on Sept. 15, 2014 with entertainment by Dawn Devries.
The Homewood-Flossmoor Area League of Women Voters will sponsor its first program of the year on Monday, September 15, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at the Marie Irwin Center in Homewood, located at the intersection of Ridge Road and Highland Avenue in Homewood. This opening event is a Pot Luck Supper, and attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to share. This is an excellent opportunity for members of the League to renew their acquaintanceship, and for those members of the community who may be interested in joining the League to find out more about this organization.
Dawn Devries of Crete will present a special theatrical performance featuring a famous woman suffragette.
The H-F Area League of Women Voters is a non-partisan, political organization which has recently celebrated its 85th birthday.
