Homewood-Flossmoor Porch Fest Returns Saturday

HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — The second annual Homewood-Flossmoor Porch Fest is set for Saturday, as residents open up their porches and local musicians tune up their instruments.

Temperatures are expected to reach 90 degrees Saturday for the event, which is described as a "spread-out outdoor music festival." Musical performances are scheduled at each of the seven houses at Porch Fest, which runs from noon-4 p.m. August 28.

Musical groups include Jack Bodie, Keem Singing, Butterfield Creek, Mad Tea, Matthias Gill, Dolph Chaney, Doug Raffety, Orange, Work In Progress, Jamey Vitale, and Laabi.
