HF Vikings Advance to Semifinal Round in Football Playoffs

The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings will advance to the Class 8A Semifinal round in the high school playoffs, defeating the Bolingbrook Raiders Saturday night 25-13. The Vikings put up another dominant performance, advancing their record to 10 wins and 2 losses on the season. The Vikings defense came up with two safeties in this game. The Vikings met the Raiders earlier in the season in Week 7, winning the game 35-28. Their playoff meeting wasn’t as close. QB Bryce Gray threw a couple of touchdowns in this game. The Vikings will face Simeon, which defeated Naperville Central 34-20 Saturday and will advance to semifinals for the first time ever.
