Hour of Code!

IJP Students Participate in Code.org's World-wide Campaign.

As part of Computer Science Education Week (December 7-13, 2015), IJP 5th Grade Students completed Code.org’s world-wide “Hour of Code!” Launched in 2013, Code.org is a non-profit dedicated to expanding access to computer science. They believe every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science. Since the Hour of Code campaign kicked off two years ago, parents, teachers, students and more than 300 partners have assisted the grassroots movement in reaching every Apple Store in the world, and helped more than 100 million students in 180 countries try their first Hour of Code!
