
Infant Jesus of Prague School is proud to announce the winners of the Catholic Math League’s National Math Contest. Our IJP 4th grade students placed 28th out of 47 schools across the country, and 1st in Illinois. Our IJP 5th graders placed 29th out of 57 schools, and 2nd in Illinois.
In the fourth grade competition, 874 national students tested. Fourth grader Luke Klupchak earned a 65th place overall, and 1st in Illinois. Maya Olson earned a 262nd place overall, and 2nd in Illinois. Evan Neiter earned a 267th place overall, and 3rd in Illinois.
In the fifth grade competition, 1052 national students tested. IJP 5th grader David Helsel earned a 66th place overall, and 2nd in Illinois. Christina Cortes (a fourth grader) earned a 155th place overall, and 4th in Illinois. Christian Holmes earned a 206th place overall, and 5th in Illinois.

The Catholic Math League Contest started in 1997 and currently serves hundreds of schools across the country. Voluntary participation in this year’s contest included a take-home practice test, and a 30 minute official test taken in school. Congratulations to all of the IJP participants and winners!
