Infant Jesus of Prague Students Earn Science Fair Awards

Seventh Graders Survive Science Fair!

The project began at the start of the school year, and culminated in January for the IJP Science Fair Presentations. Judges scored their presentations, and the top-scoring students advanced to the Regional Competitions. ”The judges were impressed by your knowledge, enthusiasm, and confidence,” Mrs. Mosher told her students during the awards ceremony. ”I have watched your science projects grow from a simple idea to a refined scientific experiment.”

The following students advanced to the Regional Project Session, which took place at Metea Valley High School (Aurora, IL) on Saturday, March 14. “Science Fair gives the students an opportunity to develop all kinds of skills, not just Science. They use Math, Reading, English, and Communication Skills to complete this challenge. Science Fair allows the students to be part of the scientific process, to be an active dynamic participant, not just an observer,” stated Mrs. Mosher.
