Ingalls Laboratory to Host Job Fair March 4

Ingalls Memorial Hospital’s Laboratory leadership team is hosting a career fair Friday, March 4, 8 a.m. to noon, at the main hospital campus in Harvey.

The fair is especially designed for clinical lab associates (phlebotomists) and medical technologists; it will be located in the hospital’s Profession Office Building at the corner of 156th and Wood streets, lower level, rooms 3 and 4.

Clinical lab associates must have successfully completed an accredited phlebotomy program or achieved certification by:

· ACA (American Certifying Agency)

· AMT (American Medical Technologist)

· ASCLS (American Society for Clinical Laboratory Scientists)

· ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists)

· NCA (National Certifying Agency)

· NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing)

· NHA (National Healthcareer Association – CPT)

· NPA (National Phlebotomy Association – certification number required)

Positions are available in various departments and locations. All attendees will be eligible for raffles at the career fair.
