Internationally Regarded Colorist Comes to Chicagoland

Cosmetologists Chicago hosts Chromastics founder Tom Dispenza for a Color Tips Workshop every hairdresser needs!

In the early 1980’s, Tom Dispenza lost his job, his home, his money, and the ability to finish his last year at university. When an independent beauty school let him enroll in classes with promises of assistance from a government funding program, Tom’s life turned around. He graduated cosmetology school, started as an assistant in a small salon, met his wife, and opened up his own salon shortly thereafter.

After moving up from a salesman at the Clairol Company to being their Worldwide Senior Manager of Education, Dispenza started the Chromastics Hair Color Company, which dedicates itself to offering superb quality products and education opportunities for creative colorists who want to be true masters of their craft.

Now an internationally regarded Hair Colorist, Tom Dispenza -- who has worked his hair coloring magic on the Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, and Good Morning America -- comes to Chicago for one day only, to share his knowledge with cosmetologists. Hair color services are vital to the success of any salon, and Cosmetologists Chicago is hosting the founder of Chromastics to bring you up to speed on coloring: why all hair doesn’t lighten the same, what “breaking the base” really means, and the best tips in selecting the best color shades for your client. There will be two sessions available on Monday, September 14th: 1-3 pmin Chicago, and 6-8 pm in Libertyville, IL.
