OLYMPIA FIELDS, IL - The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District and Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center were named one of 26 recipients of a grant announced this week by ComEd and Openlands, the organizations partnering in the Green Region Program to assist open space projects throughout northern Illinois.

The grantees, which range from local municipalities to park districts and forest preserves, will each receive up to $10,000.
