JB Pritzker To Make Stop In Homewood
A leading Democratic hopeful for governor will have a meet and greet at Grape & Grain on Sept. 25.

HOMEWOOD, IL -- JB Pritzker, a Democrat running for Governor in Illinois, will come to Homewood later this month to take part in a meet and greet event hosted by the nonpartisan advocacy group Action for a Better Tomorrow at Grape & Grain on Dixie Highway. The event will be "an opportunity for the south suburban public to learn more about Pritzker's ideas, vision and policies," according to a news release from ABT.
Pritzker, a billionaire philanthropist based in Chicago, was among the earliest to announce his candidacy in the 2018 Illinois Governor race. He seeks the Democratic nomination and a chance to attempt to unseat incumbent Governor Bruce Rauner.
Pritzker's event in Homewood will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 25 at Grape & Grain, 18031 Dixie Highway.
