Retail Theft
Renardo Bryant, 30, of East Chicago, Indiana was charged with retail theft at 2:27 p.m. on Dec. 18 at Home Depot, 17845 S. Halsted St. Bryant placed items in a shopping cart after removing the packaging and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $596.

Omesha Jackson, 25, of Country Club Hills was charged with retail theft and resisting a peace officer at Walmart, 17550 S. Halsted St. at 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 19. Jackson concealed items and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $110.12. Jackson pulled away from and pushed at officers as she was placed in handcuffs.
Warren Hardin, 48, of Matteson was charged with retail theft at 5:02 p.m. on Dec. 15 at Walmart. Hardin concealed items and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $211.06.

Lamont Stigler, 28, of Riverdale was charged with retail theft at Kohl's, 17620 S. Halsted St. at 5:20 p.m. on Dec. 16. Stigler concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $470.
Rasaan Shannon, 33, of South Holland and Kenneth Bradley 32, of Chicago were charged with retail theft at 1:32 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Home Depot, 17845 S. Halsted St. Shannon and Bradley exited the store without making payment for merchandise, which had a total retail value of $481.21.
Erika Williams, 29, of Burnham was charged with battery and retail theft at 3:19 p.m. on Dec. 17 at Jewel, 17705 S. Halsted St. Williams concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $23.48. Williams struck the loss control agent for Jewel in the face with her fist.
Tiwanna Craig, 38, of Markham was charged with retail theft at Jewel at 4:41 p.m. on Dec. 17. Craig concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $54.32.
DUI
Jonathan Powell, 38, of Hazel Crest was charged with failure to give information after striking unattended vehicle, driving under the influence - alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle at 12:02 a.m. on Dec. 15 after a traffic crash in the 17500 block of Golfview Avenue.
