League of Women Voters to Host Candidate Forum
Voters in the 2nd Congressional District encouraged to attend March 1 to hear from candidates before the March 15 primary.
The public is encouraged to attend a candidate forum on March 1 for the candidates running in the (U.S.) 2nd Congressional District: Marcus Lewis, Robin Kelly, Dorian C.L. Myrickes, and Charles Rayburn. This event will take place at 7 p.m. at Prairie State College, 202 S. Halsted Street, Chicago Heights. The audience will be invited to submit written questions for the candidates. All voters within the boundaries of the 2nd Congressional District (from Hyde Park to Kankakee, including the SE side of Chicago) are encouraged to attend this forum in order to be informed about the candidates’ positions before the March 15 primary.
This forum is being co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Homewood-Flossmoor Area and the LWV Park Forest Area, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Lambda Tau Omega Chapter, and Prairie State College.
