Let's Create! Abstract Painting with Diane McGarel
Thursdays; April 30, May 7, 17, and 28 from 6:30-8:15 pm Inspiration Station, Flossmoor Library, 1000 Sterling Avenue

(Adults, kids age 15+)
This class will help teach students how to make an abstract painting of their own by adding in texture and/or creating texture from everyday items. This class is for the beginner or for an advanced student who wishes to enhance their artist technique.
April 30: Creating a textural background using painter’s tape.
May 7: How to add glitter, yarn and/or beads onto the canvas.
May 14: Creating texture with cardboard.
May 28: Using jewelry (or various items) to enhance the artwork.
Students are asked to bring their own cardboard, glitter, beads, yarn, metal wire, or other items they want to include in the painting.
