Man Fatally Stabbed In Homewood: Police

HOMEWOOD, IL — Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in Homewood on Saturday that left a 32-year-old man dead.

Authorities were called to the 9100 block of Pierce Court shortly after 3 a.m. for a stabbing report. After officers arrived, the victim was taken to South Suburban Hospital where he died, authorities said.

Authorities said the stabbing was a targeted attack and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
